Time-Restricted Parking Sign
A green 'P' sign with times and days tells you when and how long you may park.
What This Sign Means
Green parking signs permit parking under the stated conditions; red-slashed versions prohibit it. The fine print — hours, days, and maximum duration — is legally binding.
What You Should Do
Read the entire sign before leaving your vehicle. Outside the posted hours, different rules (or other signs on the same pole) may apply.
Knowledge Test Tip
Know the unsigned no-parking rules too: within 5 m of a hydrant or crosswalk, 10 m of an intersection (in some municipalities), and never blocking a fire exit or alley.
