Warning Signs
Curve Advisory Speed Tab
The small yellow speed tab under a curve sign shows the recommended safe speed for the curve in good conditions.
What This Sign Means
Advisory speed tabs are recommendations, not legal limits — but they're calculated for ideal conditions. On ice, snow, or rain the safe speed is lower.
What You Should Do
Slow to the advisory speed (or below in poor weather) before entering the curve.
Knowledge Test Tip
Classic test distinction: regulatory speed signs (white) are enforceable; advisory tabs (yellow) are recommended. Know the difference.
